La Slug 82 è una cartuccia per cinghiale che monta la "palla Locatelli". Questo proiettile di tipo hollow point pesa circa 29 grammi e deriva strettamente dalla vecchia palla Cervo. Per migliorare la stabilità in volo, presenta rigature laterali e un impennaggio in plastica. Dalle prove effettuate a 50 metri dal Banco nazionale di prova, si è dimostrata estremamente precisa, con rosate raggruppate e alcuni colpi addirittura nello stesso foro. La Slug 82 ha prestazioni di tutto rispetto, con velocità (misurata a un metro) superiore a 470 m/sec. Viene confezionata in un'originale scatola da 5 cartucce.
The Slug 82 is a cartridge for shooting wild boars, it is loaded with “Locatelli shot”. This hollow point type bullet is weighing about 29 grams and comes from the old Cervo shot. In order to improve its stability when flying, this cartridge has side rifling and a plastic empennage. From the tests carried out at the National Test Stand at 50 m distance, it has proved to be extremely precise, with grouped burst patterns, and some rounds even in the same hole. The Slug 82 has excellent performances with speed (measured at one meter) higher than 470 m/sec. It is packed in a nice looking box containing 5 cartridges.
